We made a quick one night stop at Zion National Park on our way from Las Vegas to Bryce Canyon National Park. We stayed at our favorite Zion area B&B (the lodge in the park is yucky) where both the B and the B are excellent.

Prior to B, just after B, we headed out for a short hike and sunrise shoot. We got to the end of the 1.2 mile hike with 400 feet of elevation to find we were the only ones there. We had all of Zion to ourselves.  We took a few shots, experimenting with our composition.

Zion looks quite nice early in the morning

Tired and hungry we headed back to the B&B for some B followed by a few minutes in B.

What do you think of the shots?

Remember, its all about the light, especially sunrise.
