This is my second visit to Venice and Kathryn’s 4th! As with any place, you see things from a different perspective during subsequent visits. Obviously, this time my perspective is from behind the camera while last time it was with honeymoon eyes. One of our goals for shooting Venice is to get some street shots, close-ups, and people shots. Our next post will have some more traditional shots of Venice for you to enjoy. But, now, onto today.
Here are nearly a dozen shots from our first 24 hours in Venice. Enjoy them, and…
Venetians are not shy about their laundry. All over the city one can see all sorts of clothes drying in the wind.
Just like car drivers, these Venetians can do their best thinking while driving.
They take their art, wine, and facades very seriously.
They make sure everything is scrubbed clean.
Mother and daughter shopping. We loved their choice of jackets.
Even walking away they stand out.
The light on this musician was exquisite. One of may favorite shots of the day.
The lighting behind this door was very nice and deserved to be photographed.
After a long day of shooting, it is time for some pizza!
And finish up with desert. They take their craft very seriously. Another of my favorites from the day.
Remember, its all about the light!
