Hi all,

We made it to Page just in time for a sunset shoot at Horseshoe Bend.  Horseshoe Bend is is the name for a horseshoe shaped meander of the Colorado River.  One can hike right up to the edge where it is about a 1000 foot drop (there are no rails which makes standing on the edge very dicey when it is windy).

In the end it was quite disappointing as we took many a shot – not one worthy of posting.  We had been to Horseshoe Bend a couple times before but always during mid-day.  We were so hopeful for some exciting shots.  Hearing that sunrise is quite beautiful, we decided to abandon our original plans to shoot “Little Cut” and shoot Horseshoe Bend again.  We were definitely rewarded with a beautiful setting. It didn’t hurt that we were the only ones there for the first 40 minutes.

We hope you enjoy day 2 picture of the day.
